    A large Project

So I have this slab of live edge 2 inch thick walnut about 50 inches long by 9 inches high. I have a planed off and thinking of a lake scene and cabin with name on the right side. Work in progress.

I'd cut it in half, and make the text a bit smaller.

It's hard to make something long and narrow look good. Shortening it gives it better proportions.

These are for customer previews, I put anything on it they want and anyplace they want. For fireplace or cabin wall, I use either walnut or red cedar and I charge a lot.
