    Newbie From N.W. Indiana

    Hello,

I have a really basic question. I'm trying to chamfer the line that is offset from the center line (in the Z axis). I've tried to get rid of the center line, but it doesn't make a difference. Does anybody know what I might be doing wrong? I want to bore with a chamfer on each end. Can't get a chamfer command to work after selecting either line (front or back) in addition to the line offset from Z center.

    What software are you using?
How are you trying to do this?
    A picture/sketch may help.

You are in the Giibbs forum. Let's assume he is using Gibbs.

    Unsuccessfully

Look at the picture he posted.
