can't get access to resolver on X axis motor

voltages test find for the x axis from the side panel. Pull the J2 bullet connector out and measured sightly over 1.7V

I am about to remove the X axis resolver, but is seems to have a shield over the whole motor. Does this shield come off by itself or I need to take the whole motor off?

If you are working on a MTR-0002 you must remove the cover bolted to the face of the motor. Remove the end from the motor and the resolver will be staring up at you.
