    Counter

Hello, I just got a Okuma EX 3000II MYW. Wrote a program to cut some jaws works great , but when it got to the M2 I got a parts counter alarm. And it will not go away, reset turn power off and back on, still there.
Alarm says I have to set the counter value to 0, But for the life of me I cant find the parameter for the counter.
    Anybody Help?
    Thanks Bob.

Check in your work counter screen. It should be in auto mode but you may have to extend the screen a time or 2. If older control then it may be in parameters.
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Re: Counter

hello again, there may be a max limit for the nc work counter, and maybe you just reached it ? try to reset your actual counter

on osp300, look for [ F6 ] Nc opr monitor + page up / page down, so to reach "work counter " interface 1/3

also, as mr wizard said, you may need to extend the screen

i just input 99999999 inside the counter, and after the cycle completed, it changed to +overflow, but i could continue ...

hmm, this is deja-vu; i feel like i have given this advice a long time ago, but actually this is the 1st time ? my god, my memory
