    X-axis jumping rack and pinion

    Hi.

I've am building a CNC router. For some reason, my motor keeps jumping off of the rack. The machine will drag the gantry just fine, but it doesn't like to push it... Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Sean

I think you have the pivot point too high, can you move your pivot/mounting point down so the motor assembly is more horizontal with the rack?
I'll get it finished sometime after I start it.....
