I've nearly completed the retrofit of the CNC on a mill using Mach 3, the UHU servo boards and a Campbell Combo board but I'm now having problems getting the spindle relay to operate and have had no luck in getting hold of Bob Campbell.

When I reset the controller the charge pump relay closes and the LED lights and the main relay for the 3Ø closes.
In MDI;
M3 nothing happens
M4 the direction relay closes and the LED lights.
M5 relay opens and the LED turns off.
M8 coolant pump relay closes and the LED lights.
M9 coolant pump relay opens and the LED turns off.

I have output #1, port 1, pin 1 for M3
I have output #2, port 1, pin 1 for M4
I have output #3, port 1, pin 14 for M7
I have output #3, port 1, pin 16 for M8

Because the other functions work I was thinking that the problem may be with pin #1 or the cable. Any suggestions and advice on the problem would be appreciated.

My apologies to Bob, apparently he did contact me before but it got caught by my spam filter. He has contacted me again and I'm trying his suggestions and we will see where it goes.
