Neither machine has a tool changer. I would like to make a simple table tool holder that would allow me to program the tool location where each change would take place. I understand that I'd need to add some type of encoder to ensure the spindle is orientated properly for the change. I'd also need to add some relays to control the draw bar. Anybody here have experience adding hardware for the control to interface with?
Any PDF manuals out there? Any link I've found is no longer working and milltronics doesn't list the mechanical manuals on their website.
I don't know if there have been any upgrades made to the storage capacity of the machines. Any good ballpark on how large of a program the machines will hold?
I have only seen pictures and video of the machines. I'm hoping they're ready to work, will find out. Each was purchased for less than $1500 so I won't be upset by needing to do a little work.
Does anybody have info on the servo types?
Thanks,
Erik
