    What decides GPP tool command output sequence??

    Hi there,
    assume my post processor output Gcode (tool-path command) as below:

    (1)@start_of_file ==>
    (0)@vmid_info ==>
    (1)@def_tool ==>
    (1)@plane_data ==>
    (1)@absolute_mode ==>
    (1)@start_program ==>

    my question is : what decides the output sequence of these the tool-path command ?

    why @absolute_mode is output after @def_tool ?

    SOLIDCAM, the software itself sets it and I can't change ? or I can control it by setting post processor ?

    thanks for reading,

    If this issue could be find in GPPTool User Guide , please tell me , thank you!

    Contact your local reseller for assistance with edits to your Post Processor. They can adjust your Post to match your requests.

    This is an open community forum for users to discuss issues and questions they have on the software but it is not an official forum. Some of us at SolidCAM come on here to help with your questions but sometimes the answers are easier to give when we connect through the official means. Here is a good example since a Post edit would require some more info and its best to discuss that directly with the Post writer. Your local reseller can facilitate that for you.

    There is no better source on SolidCAM topics then SolidCAM themselves.

    Thank you for your opinion.
    Of course I can ask my reseller.
    But the question is ,they won’t teach you how to develop a postprocessor.
    They feel you don’t need them if you learned it.

    Some of these software manufactures, have to do the post processors as it is done in software they use, which you would not have access to, so if this is the case of there postprocessors there is nothing that you could learn to be able to do it yourself without the software they use
