    Hi,

    Can you recommend the best option boards and required components (cables/plugs etc) to attach to the expansion port to increase the capabilities to the 6 axes along with additional I/O sensors etc.

    Example, to allow independent home and hard limit switches for all of X, Y and Z for + and - hard limits.

    The example drawing in the manual shows the UCSB BOB connected to the expansion port: CNCdrive - motion controls
    Going after the manual description the expansion port is a normal printer port and for that any printer port compatible breakout boards should work.

    To make independent homes and limits you wire them one by one to different input pins on the AXBB-E or on the BOB and configure the homes and limits accordingly in the UCCNC.
