    Zen Toolworks 12x12 ... can't get round circles ...

    My motor tuning seems ok (well, the steps are right, the vel/acc might be off) but 1" is correct in all dimensions.

    But when I try to draw a circle (using sharpie) my circle is more square than round.

    You can see in the Mach3 preview that the circle is not round either. I assume it's something with my GCODE but it seems fine.

    Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

    Your Mach3 is set for Absolute IJ mode, needs to be set to Incremental in General Configuration

    or

    Set I and J to 0. in all cases for Absolute IJ mode

    Thanks Jim, that was it. Replaced G90 with G91.1 to the top and it's now as round as my intellect.
