    newbie! need help with photoelectric sensor

    hi guys this is my first post about cnc im new to this


    im looking for some help with an issue im have with wiring up a indexing sensor

    i have converted my manual lathe to cnc which ive got working fine with mach3

    ie: steeper motors

    im trying to wire up a spindle index sensor up ive made the pick up disc with the correct slot on i and mounted it to the lathe shaft
    im struggling to get the sensor to ive got the led light to flash when some thing is passed through
    it but i get nothing on mach3 screen on index pulse light

    the board is wired up to a 24v power supply and a separate one for the motor drivers
    also have a separate 5v supply for the board to work

    i have included a pic ok the sensor im trying to wire up and also a pic of the board im using
