    G03 issue

    HI All,

I have an odd issue when cutting circles (waterjet) using G03. Sometimes it just does the pierce but does not cut the circle.

Playing with some test code I get the following odd behavior:

    Works:
    G00 x2.15 y10.4789
    G03 x2.15 y10.4789 i0.0 j0.65 f20.0

    Does not work:
    G00 x2.16 y10.4789
    G03 x2.16 y10.4789 i0.0 j0.65 f20.0

Less than .15 works more than .16 on the x does not work. WTF?

This is running using the Kflop motion controller if that matters.

    Cheers

    Chris

    Re: G03 issue

WHat are your steps/unit on the X axis?
I've heard that there's a bug if the steps/unit setting is too course, circles can get skipped.
Not sure that's the issue, but sounds like it might be.
