Hi Gerry - Thanks for the info re bolts and others who have responded on that. In Oz companies use courier bags and it costs $20AUD to get most things from A to B. If they took the same package to the post office probably cost <$10AUD but they don't want to go to the post office. We do have mail order companies but not quite like Mcmasters etc. Suppliers in asia can supply small items FOC mail and that seems to be the trend here. Bearings, nuts bolts, metal bits etc probably put some of the Oz companies out of biz the way it's going. Times are a changing, back to mail order... Peter
Gerry here's an image of the back of the bracket so you can see the tabs. Assembly is a bit tricky as you can't have two tabs at 90degs and have them engage. But it can be done just have to work out some entry angles. The surface of the tab is about 3mm under the surface of the bracket and they do about a 2mm weld. In this way the shrink direction pulls the tab into the slot. If you welded it on the outside it would cup the bracket. Cheers peter s
