    Problems with PC communicating with Hurco

    Help!!!!
    My wife, God Bless her! Dumped my PC that I used to program with in Smartcam. I have every thing reinstalled but now I am having problems with the PC sending the code to the machine. I have forgotten how everything has to be set. Any and all help welcomed. I have two jobs to do and can't send the code the the machine.

    communication parameter Hurco

    Hi,
    I dont no which Hurco model u r having and which software u r using for communication. I have Hurco BMC20 & 30 and I am using SDNC for communication. Following are parameter to set:

    HURCO
    TYPE PC =MACHINE

    BAUDRATE 9600= 9600
    DATA BIT 7= 8
    STOPBIT 1 =1
    PARITY EVEN =NONE
    HANDSHAKE Xon/Xoff =Xon/Xoff

    8, 1, none is setup for conversational programs. i believe you need to use 7, 1 0r 2, even for g-code file transfer. been a while since i've set one up, but if you call hurco and talk to steve artz, he can tell you for sure. ron
