    Issues with G03

    Hi All,

I have a strange issue with the G03 command, sometimes it will not cut the circle, it moves to the location but does not do the cut.

I was playing with some test code and found the following:

    Works:
    G00 x2.15 y10.4789
    G03 x2.15 y10.4789 i0.0 j0.65 f20.0

    Does not work:
    G00 x2.16 y10.4789
    G03 x2.16 y10.4789 i0.0 j0.65 f20.0

Less than .15 works more than .16 on the x does not work. WTF?

This is in Mach 3 connected to a Kflop/Kanalog system.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

    Chris

    Re: Issues with G03

    Hi Chris,

    Any error/status messages?

    What Version of Mach3?

    What Version of KMotion?

    Inch mode?

If you split the full circle into two semi-circles does it work then?

    Re: Issues with G03

    Hi Tom,

No error messages that I have seen, maybe I should have the kmotion console up to see. In Mach 3 it just goes to the start point sits there for a sec then moves on to the next point without performing the G03 motion.

I have tried a few versions of Mach 3 with no difference (43.066, 42.020, 43.062). currently running the latest version 43.066.

    Latest version of KMotion

    Yes Inch mode

I have not tried this but I will.

    Cheers

    Chris
