    3. USB should be adaptable to any machine that has a floppy drive since it is a direct bolt/plug in replacement. Older 5000 series required a floppy board, so they didn't have this ability.
    4. Your sample code doesn't show an END command. Was it there but not displayed?
    5. Does the program run correctly by itself outside of the schedule program?
    6. Have you tried to select and run the program from the floppy without using the schedule program? If you cannot do this then the schedule program cannot do it either.
    7. What method of program are you trying to do this from? Maybe method needs to be changed?
    8. Have you tried to call in your Gosiger guys to see if they can help you out?

    Best regards,

Re: A couple questions to solve

For anyone interested...Finally heard back from Gosiger.

    DNC-B $7680
    1MB Tape Storage $1980
    1MB Program Capacity $1980

I can only assume that Tape Storage is MD1: and Program Capacity is the Run Buffer.

Thank You all for being supportive on my quest,

    hi cg

    I can only assume ...
maybe you should ask for more details ... but it seems that gosiger replied late ... maybe you can pay them a visit ? just saying

    Tape Storage is MD1
it may be an increased tape storage space, probably > default, and this hardware is associated with the cnc through the MD1 system device

Program Capacity is the Run Buffer
"program capacity" is similar to actual methods "a" or "b", which allows selecting a program file with bigger size

however, in both cases, the "run buffer" is the same

so far, you did not had problems with the "run buffer size", but only with the "limited system device storage space", and the "limited program(file) size"

1MB Tape Storage $1980 > this is a boot in size for the system device
1MB Program Capacity $1980 > this is a boost in size for the program_file size, that can be selected

    kindly
