Do you have any plans to shift over to BobCad 2007, or offer it as an option, in the near future?
Do you have any plans to shift over to BobCad 2007, or offer it as an option, in the near future?
Not at this time. The 2007 software is very modular, which was outsourced. This makes it quite a bit more expensive. However, there is a better strategy. Our customers are eligible for a great discount on upgrades to 2007. So making the purchase of 21.5 then upgrading will save you a tremendous amount of money. 21.5 is also what we suggest for people unfamiliar because we include the 10 disc training series. Since the training series is not completed yet on 2007, this strategy makes the most sense.

Will you sell the BobCAD to customers buying an SX3 conversion kit from you?
In your opinion is Bobcad 2007 worth upgrading to?
I have 21 from you guys, and Mach3 wizards work so much easier that I haven't made any code with it yet.
The lathe turning doesn't work with solids, the mill solids associativity is a little weak (needing lines to be picked and projected and all) and there is no real 4th axis support.
The videos seem to work a lot harder at helping people learn to draw, than actually teaching them to post code.
It would be nice to see something that could take a face on a solid, and with a single click, unerstand that the confines of that face were a pocket...
If it is worth the upgrade, whats the ballpark $ on an upgrade to 2007?
