    Top of part value in PP?

    I've tried part_height but that just yields zero all the time, I know that reference_plane is equal to Top of Part + Rapid Plane, I can live with a set Rapid Plane value if a hard coded subtraction can then be done in the PP to yield Top of Part, but none of my guesses at syntax have worked.
    Any ideas gents?
    TIA,
    Nick

    I've sorted out Advanced Posting for BCC V25 through to V29 so I'm just adding a tab to the drilling wizard with an input box allowing me to pass Top of Part directly to the VbScript in the PP

    Re: Top of part value in PP?

    I was digging around today in the documentation for V31 and stumbled upon this API call today.

    MILL_Get_TopOfPart() – API Only

    Mill Job
    Returns the top of feature value for the current feature.

    I haven't tried it but it looks promising. Trouble is I don't know what version this API call is valid for. But thought it was worth mentioning!

    Thanks for that!
    I'll see what that yields in V25 when I next delve into the PP
