prototyping a project, can do all of it myself except for this piece. final version i want to be out of brass, but for the prototype im sure aluminum or steel will be cheaper and sufficient

laser cutting was the most obvious process to me, but other methods are fine, just needs to be relatively dimensionally accurate and flat.

dimensions are 15.25" x 6.25", thickness can be either 3mm or 1/8 in (i imagine the latter is more likely to be on hand and thus cheaper, but if 3mm is a bit less that works too)

not time sensitive at all
