    Question Fadal 4020 Moving-measurements needed

    Hey guys,

Looked around best I could and in the manuals, but what is the distance between the removable forklift panels on the front of the machine to slide the forks through?? Reason I ask is that we may use a front end loader and his forks can only locate I believe in one spot.

Anyways, was hoping someone had a minute and could run a tape on center of each panel to let me know. The logistics of a move is quite the headache. Will make a nice thread later with pics of how I chose to do it with finer details. I already have the steel square tubing to slide through the casting fyi.

BTW- 96 Fadal with Extended Z FTW

PS- I am a long time lurker and member of other boards, so not necessarily a newbie. Plan to stick around..

    Thanks!

Looks like about 41" between centers of 15" x 7 1/2" Sheet metal holes. Measurements from a 2005 Fadal 4020

    Centre to centre 104cm
Casting is 68cm approx so you would need that measurement between the forks

If your forks are slightly wider than the cutouts then realize that front sheet metal skirt comes off pretty easy. Too narrow then you're out of luck.!
Good luck with the move! LOL, I just noticed the date so hopefully you got it safely into position.
