    Tornado 100 Turret Overheat

    Hi

I have a tornado 100 which keeps coming up with a Turret Overheat alarm. It used to just happen when I first turned on the machine and I had to turn it off and on again to clear the alarm but now it is doing it randomly during the day and I have to wait an hour for it to clear. I have read through this forum and it suggests changing the control relays but I am unsure which ones they are as when I do index the turret and I cannot see any relays moving in the cabinet. Anybody have any ideas please as the turret does not seem to be getting warm at all so dont think it is the turret jamming or getting tight.

    Thanks

    Re: Tornado 100 Turret Overheat

Hi, Thanks for your help. I have checked the voltage through the Overheat Sensor and when disconnected it is 21.6volts. Is this classed as low? I am unable to check the solenoid voltage yet as my multimeter is not quick enough to get a reading during the tool change so I will order a new one that will record a max value.

    Thanks
