Not sure I can really interpret that drawing very well
Basically you need to know these things about the drives:
The location of the analog input pins on the drives
The location of the drive enable pin(s)
How the drive enables work
(are they enables, disables, do you pull them high, low etc)
Without this information its going to be hard to proceed
If you have a friend that is knowledgable about electronics that would help
as would a drive manual or a drawing that labels the pins, or even a close picture of the
drive including the interface connector (J1) and existing Anilam wiring
I've been following along here and have to say the the AMC 25A20 drives might be the best idea if you have documentation for them. Any device with more than two connections on it and without documentation is pretty much a paperweight.

OK so I pulled the original drives and I'm going to start wiring the new AMC BE25A20 drives, they are brushless drives but I setup the switches on the drive to run brushed servo motors. Now I need to know where to hook up the existing wires on the servo drives. Now there are 2 orange and 2 grey wires for the power do I just use 1 of each of these or do I tie the 2 together and hook them to the drive. There is also 2 light blue wires and 2 purple wires that went to the old servo drives. OK and on the other small connector there is a brown, green and yellow wire that are coming off of the 15v power supply, obviously 2 wires are for power but what is the 3rd wire for. Sorry this is so long just do not want to screw this up. Thanks in advance for your help.
I also have 3 brushed drives also if they would be easier to setup.

Here are 2 pics of the drives.
The AMC BE25A20 drives seem to be the most compatible with the Mesa hardware that you have in that they accept a +/- 10VDC analog control signal, so I would use them. The brushed drives look like they want a PWM and Direction control signal, and I don't know if your Mesa hardware has that control output available.
The orange and gray wires are pretty small so I would use them doubled just to carry the current.
As far as the other wiring, remove all of it. You need to start from scratch since you are replacing both the drives and the controller. The +/- 15V power supply won't be needed either, the AMC drives have that built in. Sit down and draw a diagram of how you are going to wire things up, much easier to fix the mistakes on paper.
The only wiring that needs to be left intact is the power wiring, fans, and other stuff, no need to change that. If you have a 24VDC power supply in the cabinet, then leave that also. Will be useful for powering limit switches and other devices as needed.

Should I setup the servos in torque mode or velocity mode, from what I have been reading torque mode is easiest and is a bit tighter. And I also uploaded a drawing if you could have a quick look at it and let me know what you think.

I normally use torque mode, seems to work better
The only thing I see in the diagram that I question is the enable relay, normally you would use the ENA pins rather than an output on the MESA board.

So from what I have been reading I don't use the tach at all, it just uses the glass scales for positioning.
If the AMC drive does not require tach feedback for a brushed DC motor then no need to use it. The MESA board only requires encoder (glass scales in this case) feedback.
