Volume 2 - Chapter 12 - X ACME Screw
I cut and installed the X axis ACME screw.
Attachment 417036
Note that I am using the helical shaft couplers. I have found that these work the best for this build.

Volume 3 - Chapter 9 - UC100 Install
UC100 Installed and working.
Attachment 417068
I plan on installing the UC300ETH and configuring it. I will do that after I go through Volume 3 completely so I can iron out any issues in the book.
A tornado hit our local Amazon distribution center so any thing I order is taking weeks, Once some of the parts needed for the advanced electronics volume finally get here, I will start as I suspect I will have volume 3 testing complete.

Volume 3 - Chapter 11 - Motor Setup
Motors setup in Mach 3.
Attachment 417074
My layout board is placed on the lower shelf I added earlyer. As this is only an option, you will need to come up with some sort of table to hold the layout board if you did not add this lower shelf.

Volume 3 is now Complete
This wraps up the third volume. I have added some content to the CNC Construction Set area on the Kronos Robotics website. I will post links in this blog as I complete them.

Volume 3B
I upgraded the machine to advanced Electronics as per the Volume 3B book.
Advanced electronics, while a little more expensive lets you move into some more advanced operations, such as plasma cutting or adding a rotary axis.
I have added a drag chain upgrade and mounted the layout board to the machine.
You can find the upgrades here:
