Hello all,
I can't seem to figure out how to peck tapping on the robodrill Fanuc a-D21L iA5 control.


my other Fanuc does pecking tapping with G94 M29, with PITCH X RPM = FEED...
but on this machine I wanted to just use the pitch...
example below


(M7x1 XXXX TAPRH)
M29 S300
G98 G84 Z-10. R10. Q3. F1.


I find it way simpler because 90% of the jobs are in mellimeters.


Anyone please tell me what would be the proper way of doing this pecking tapping cycle?

Add G95 before the M29 S300 command.

What I don't like about the G95 on this machine is, the single block works a little weird, it stops in every single cycle. It stops at every peck.
It got to be a parameter to change this...

Hi,

Check your Parameter-Manual for Rigid Tapping.
For the 0i-D series par. 5200 and more.

Par. 5200 #6 (FHD)
FHD Feed hold and single block in rigid tapping:
0: Invalidated
1: Validated
