i have a DIY CNC that i built about a year ago and it was working fine until it wasn't, the Inverter stopped working. i ordered a new one from Amazon and received an email from Huanyang asking if i would like to have this upgraded model in exchange for the Hy series and i said yes, after asking if i could use RS485 to control the spindle and I was told it was all the same it just had a better VF control and many other upgrades that i had no idea about. anyway it has been 3 weeks now and i still cant get it working with RS485. It was suggested that I could use a speed control board and so i got one and still not working but ...
It seems that I have mach3 talking to speed control (C41s) board and that is talking to Inverter (DRO showing up/down frequency change) but no voltage coming out of the C41 board to increase/decrease speed/frequency? The doc's that came with C41 is poor at best and the diagram is of an older board and all the inputs/outputs are in other places and not marked well so it is not easy for me to understand the jumpers because they are also not marked well, so that is the problem,
there is voltage going to inverter from the 0-10V analog output on C41. but I can't get voltage out from C41 to inverter to turn on spindle. there is only one analog
0-10V terminal output and it looks like maybe the other outputs are RJ45 connections. there are 2 other analog outputs for switching for/rev and other operations but not for run/stop?
If anyone has any idea how i can get my spindle working it would be great!
thanks
