    AXYZ 4009 Retrofitting

    Hello,

I just inherited an AXYZ 4000 router that was made in the mid 90's with an old AMC controller. I am trying to retrofit the router since the frame is a good solid structure. Looking in the cabinet and motors, I was hoping to re-use the Reliance Electric servo motors but I cant find any information on them. I wanted to know if anyone has been able to get the motors running using any updated drivers that are compatible? I am attaching a picture of the motor and sticker plate. The challenge is that the motors have a body length of about 100mm, and I cant find anything in that size that will handle about 600w of power, and I am not sure anything smaller will have enough to drive the heavy gantry?

    Any information is much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Shaffin.

Maybe you can use gear boxes.
