    Counter sink diameter at different depths.

    Greetings,

    Does anyone know of a free program that would allow me to enter a c'sink diameter, and angle, and calculate the diameter at different depths?

    For example 90 degree .180" diameter on the surface.
    What would the diameter of the c'sink be at .015", .025" etc below the surface?

    Any ideas or a formula that might help calculate those numbers at different depths and angles?

    Regards,

    USE TANGENT FORMULA:
    tan ang = opposite side(radius value) / adjacent side
    then multiply by 2
    then calc flat

    82deg csnk =41deg ang
    1" cnsnk dia = .5 opposite side

    tan 41=.8693
    x.5=.4346 dep

    .1dia tip =.05opposite side
    tan 41 *.05 =.0434

    .4346-.0434=.3911 final dep
