Im looking for a low cost machine capable of cutting and engraving stainless steel keychains up to 2mm thick and small logo type jewelry. Im trying to stay around the $10k range if possible.

Hi, so you need two machines. One Fiber marking machine with 50W ou 100W to engraving and one Fiber cutting machine 700W or 1000W , but not normal fiber source, a NLight fiber source is needed , Fiber cutting machines with normal fiber source can´t cut reflective metal cause beam is reflected back to source and will damage. You will spend about $45000 in a 600x400mm 700W machine with nLight source and about $10000 in a fiber marking machine.

Fiber laser marking machine is good for engraving.A low cost machine can be $3000.Fiber laser cutting machine is expensive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6oSB8qVmDA

$3000.Fiber laser marking machine is flat marking capable only. For deep engraving you need 50-100W Fiber machine that cost much more than $3000

Yes.If you just want to mark the logo and make it visible then a 20w machine is ok.But if you want to deep engraving or cutting metal then you need 50w-100w.The speed of cutting is slow and the thickness should be under 1.5mm.
