I have a 4x8 cnc router. I am wanting to add a laser to it to cut out 1/4" foam for RC planes. Is there a simple add on laser i can mount to do this? WOuld be nice if it could cut very thin wood as well. Sorry if this has been cover, i just dont even know where to start to look for this information

is there a full kit for this? Not so great at piecing stuff together. I did all the electronics on my router, but im not sure all the parts i need to get a laser to function properly

Diode lasers are fragile. Wouldn`t invest. CO2 are simple and much more resistant for faults.
