Hi, I'm new to okuma lb3000 ex and I'm trying to program my transfer from spindle A to spindle B. I keep getting w axis over travel axis alarm. But it's not even close to being able to grab the part. Also I have used different thickness of soft jaws and it happens at the same spot every time. Please help.

you may need to shift the coordinates, so to get closer to main spindle : just go easy, shift with 1mm, then another 1mm, etc, observe, be carefull / kindly

There is also an interference parameter so as to keep the spindles from colliding. The parameter is under Spindle 1-2 if I remember correctly. It works rather strange in that the number cannot go negative and may already be at zero but you need spindles to move closer together. The trick is to SET the parameter to say 10000 (10mm) and then ADD -10000. This will allow the spindles to move closer by 10 mm. Of course you cannot exceed your stroke limits so take that into consideration.
