I am new to the site and also new VFDs. I built a copy router which is manually operated. My son who works at a place with many CNC routers and mills, insisted that I use a VFD and spindle motor instead of a trim router. I agreed and purchased a 1.5kw spindle and Chinese VFD from Ebay. After doing all the modifications to my design, I got everything together and it ran great. Until now. I started to get The E.ol error and the motor would stop. It was intermittent at first and I blamed the extension cord that I started using. I eliminated the extension cord and it seemed ok. Note that this is a 220V unit. I checked out the cord and it seems fine. Now I am getting the E.ol and E.oc errors. I come to this site and decided to to check my programming. That is when I really screwed things up. I finally got things to run (statically) but here is the max output. I haven’t tried to use the router, just ran it in place for a few minutes. I am going to check my line voltage next because it seems high with my cheap HF multimeter (~260-270V at the outlet). This may be the multimeter. I have used this router occasionally for almost a year with no problems to speak of. The seller on ebay gave me special parameters, which I have seemed to misplace.
