Raycus 30w Laser Software EZCad2.0 Calibration

Hello, I just got a Raycus 30w Laser cutter/engraver from China. I can't seem to get it to calibrate right on the EZCad software that it comes with, in order to engrave a small text onto a charm. The text comes out inverted, like a mirror image. Does anyone know where I can find how to calibrate it? Is it out of focus? Do I need to focus it? completely lost. Does anyone know where I can start looking? Thank you so much.

Fibre laser sources do not react with paper, wood or fabrics.

You want to test it on metals to see the reaction you get. The focus on a fibre laser is critical, potentially just +/- 0.25mm so it could just be that you do not have the correct focal position.

It will be a pain, but you might just need to do some experimentation to find the optimum focus point.
