I have a year 2000 MB19 with centruion 6. I think it's the "newer" style with the white control box in the cabinet.
Questions for now are;
There is what I assume to be an external keyboard plug on the side of the controller. It looks like the old PS2 port, is that what it is?
I would guess it is not got swappable and needs to be plugged in before I power up the machine?
Would an external keyboard work in conjunction with the standard interface or take precedence over it?
Next, does anyone know what the cost is to upgrade from SLS to full cnc is? If upgraded is the offline fastcam still available for the full cnc version?

Yes the external keyboard is hot swappable and yes it works in conjunction with the front panel.

yes you can change to the CNC software.

I use a Hewlett-Packard KB0316 keyboard and a din5 AT male to mdin6 female adapter. Much better if you do any conversational at the mill.
