Hi Guys

I am having major issues trying to connect this drive to a PC, newest software, correct cable config and it wont connect using 2 seperate pc's, 3 seperate usb to rs232 serial adapters, 2 of the same drive, is there something i am missing?

what should be a simple transfer parameter exercise is extremely frustrating.. anyone with experience with this drive?

pc Lenevo T430s running win 7 64 bit

comms speed 9600
7 bit
parity even
stop bit 1

software sigmawin+ 5.75

any help would be appreciated

No experience with this drive , but had plenty of issues with different USB to serial converters. The best solution I found was to just get an old PC with RS232 and transfer files to it from a modern PC and the to the device. Hope this helps.

Im not familiar with this unit either, but I do know that usb to serial on win7 is a pain in the ass, if you can get it working at all, just having a quick squiz thru your manual states you should connect it with this cable, JZSP-CMS01 , https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Yaskawa...-/173579784109.

Could you solve the problem?
I’m using COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE FOR FANUC CNC with the similar CNC.
It is specially designed for FANUC CNC though it can be used also with other CNC.
It has several built-in help menus that show you how to use it with your CNC.
