Hello

I purchased a used compumill 4000 from ebay. I have powered it up and x and z axis will move when the rapid override is at about 40%. When I go over that the axis stops and I get a servo alarm(the control is a Dynapath 20). The alarm is nondescriptive. So I tried to adjust the pots on the board(call me an idiot, I didnt record the original settings) this caused the axis to not move at all. Then I downloaded the baldor manual from thier site and restored the settings to thier settings which did nothing. Finally I had the bright idea to make the settings match y axis(it works fine), but that caused ocilations in x axis. Does anyone have a method to tune the drive(the manual's method requires an external 5 volt input source then gives instructions from there). Where do I get the 5 volts from? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Joe
