Have you measured power at the that top plug? (Usually 220vac). If you have power there then it may be in the power supply. Try removing all the jumpers between it and the spindle drive to make sure that another unit is not dragging it down. My documentations shows at least 1 fuse on the circuit board in the power supply. (if you check for it make sure it has been powered off for more than 20 min).
you can power up the control power board of the power supply without beeing attached to powwer board, only to see if it gets the light led on or no.
I had a technician look at the machine last week. His conclusion is that the power supply seems to be dead too. He took the power supply to see if he can fix it. Otherwise I will pick up a used on on ebay. There are quite a few available.
He got the power supply repaired and we powered up the machine last night. I couldn't get the x-axis to home, but I found that another guy with a Mycenter 1 had the same problem and moving the home/limit switch dogs fixed the issue.
The ATC is not working, but I will mess with it when I get some time. I have had enough adventures with it. Hopefully I have learned enough to get it working again.
Thanks for all the help!
Please keep us updated. That way we all learn along with you.
The ATC alarm was just the carousel indexing switch on the side of the machine. It was turned to the counter-clockwise setting. When I moved it to the center neutral position the alarm went away and the machine runs fine now.
I got that tip from somebody on another forum who replied to my old thread regarding the ATC. Somebody else was having trouble with the tool pot ejecting tools. His timely issue gave me the answer to my ignorance.
I actually wonder how long I was fighting that issue before and the fix was that simple.
