    Inconel 600/625

    Hi, anyone with experience turning inco 600 and 625. I'm looking for some advice from proven methods , speeds, feeds, tooling for turning grooves in this horrible stuff. External tooling is 25mm shanks, grooves will be 26mm wide by 45mm deep or minus 90mm on diameter.

    I have mostly done 718.

    My experience is the sfm has to be really low. like 50 - 150. Can't do huge depth of cuts. Inserts with a neutral rake will last longer preferable the harder grades.

    Hi I did cut this material on Mitsubishi CO2 laser that was easy like regular SS material only changed some setup on machine that's it.
