I got all full of steam the other night while poking holes and ran the Y-axis into the bump stops like an apprentice. I was wearing ear plugs and manning the vacuum hose so I didn't really notice it struggling until the next row in the pattern was about an inch south of where it should have been. Anyway, it's still working fine but I noticed the Y/Slave leadscrews are poking out the bushings at the front of the machine about 1/2". I didn't know how much was tucked inside the (backlash nut?) prior or the correct procedure for solving it. Any input?
