Hey guys wondering if you can help me out. I have been given the challenge to make some parts for a researcher here and want to really do a good job to keep his bussiness.

They gave me some very small parts, linkage bars, that I have to machine out of steel. The parts all have 3mm diameter bosses, some on either side. The problem I face is getting the bosses perfectly round with no divets or flats because they are mating parts that need to pivot smoothly.

Their machinist used a Gcode M1 99 - no deceleration, no sure what kinda machine. Can some one elaborate on this or give me an alternative approach?

I am using a series2 bridgeport with a Fagor control.
