Controlling spindle via VFD and LinuxCNC

I have connected an Huanyang VFD to a 3 phase spindle and it works well when controlled directly by the VFD. However, I'm having difficulty controlling it through LinuxCNC.
The BOB wiring is shown below with the bottom black cable being +5V and GRD, The white and green wires go to V1 and ACM on the VFD, the black and red wire are 24V from the VFD and the two brown wires are power to the VFD via the BOB relay.

The VFD connects are shown below. I've set PD001 to 1, PD002 to 1 and PD070 to 0

I've set pin 17 to spindle PWM and this pin connects to the jumper by the relay on the BOB.

And I've set the spindle parameters in stepconf as

When I power up the VFD powers up and i get 9.8 volts on the VFD terminal V1 but switching the VFD of kills this to zero.
If i try to run the spindle from Linux CNC nothing happens.

I realise this problem covers other than Linux but any help or re-direction would be appreciated.

I sounds like maybe a wiring error.
Also. I would definitely try with VFD unconnected to start

This thread may help with wiring:
