    Upgrading timing belts

My first cnc build used 80 oz. in. steppers and 1/4" MXL timing belts. I upgraded the steppers to 400 oz. in. but kept the MXL belts. The first time I crashed the spindle head, it stripped the MXL's. Does anyone have a recommendation what belt would handle 400 oz. in. steppers?

    Re: Upgrading timing belts

I have no experience, but this one comes with 9mm HTD3 belts and one 3nm Stepper to power two 10mm pitch ballscrews with ratio 1:1,25.
