How would YOU turn this feature?

I have 100 of these to do and more is likely. I would be referring to this interior cone feature. The only way I know of right now is a custom modded carbide round with a radius nose and slightly relieve the sides. However, they may just break like a pencil lead. It would be nice to have more beef in the cut but I don't know what else to do. Not looking to throw hundreds at this problem.

I was planning to get what I could out with general tools, then plunge cut what I could with the pen, then contour it with the same tool.

Those things are illegal to make without the correct BATFE license.

Check micro 100 or internal tool.

I would use a 55 or 35 deg od insert laying flat
I believe sandvick has a boring bar that would get
    U want u need..
I done something like that before...
As far as rough and finishing countour face it..
Go easy on depth of cuts until your confident it's
Giving u tool life u expect.
