    Hi

Does anyone have any good experience in laser cutting different plywood, and which type of ply would be the best to cut?

Beamer I would think with a 100 watt laser you are going to be able to cut 1.5CM as for 1.5mm it should cut through that like butter!

You should have no problems with your set up, get as clean as wood as possible, knots cause issues because of the high density.

I have cut 5/8 10 ply hard maple as fast as 75ipm with 400 watts.

I only have 45 watts and have cut up to 6mm baltic birch with no problems.
I tried to do 1/2" MDO and it took 3 passes and burned the edge.
