Just wanna ask has anybody tried using an ac industrial sewing motor as a milling motor spindle? I know using hybrid stepper motor as a spindle is a bad idea and I cannot afford to buy an AC servo. Getting treadmill motor is out of question for me as I am unable to find a controller that runs 220V ac of my country. Thank you.

If the motor is 3Phase then any VFD Drive that matches the motor size is all you need

Regarding torque and reliability, can it be use to drive a spindle for long duration milling aluminium?

What type and size of machine will the motor go on?

It is just a normal benchtop cnc with a sherline industrial spindle catridge. The motor I am looking at is a 550w sewing machine motor (https://www.lazada.sg/products/ac-220v-550w-adjustable-mute-brushless-motor-for-industrial-sewing-machine-i269081527-s417904579.html?search=1)
