    8inch floppy drive wanted!!!

    Hello,
    Im looking for old 8inch floppy drive, cause i want to backup my old okuma lb15 lathe machine, im willing that someone can help me.

    You can find some on Ebay they are spendy, I have one I don't think I will part with it unless I get a good offer

    Maybe if you did a search for 8 inch floppy drive instead of 8inch you would find something.

    Not only are the 8" drives expensive now
    shipping from the USA to UK more than doubles the cost

    Most likely you will have to find a ribbon cable like from here 50-Pin SCSI Drive Ribbon Cables

    Have you considered using an emulator should.be the same connections
