There is a string of code that you need in your header to pass the stock and tool information to the editor. I would start there.... If you haven't sent your post processor to support to be updated to V31 I would do that as well.

I'm not sure I saw it in the video that Al posted but you usually don't need to edit the job setup in the NC Editor. I added the following to my post processor to get BobCAD to generate a call to the job setup that is created automatically:

    Code:
       comment_start,"JOBSETUP[",prog_name_no_ext_no_path, force_no_add_spaces,".mwjs]JOBSETUP",comment_end
I ripped this from the existing example posts in the V31 data folder after noticing most of the example files had this line of code. Here's what it looks like in the NC code:

    Code:
    (END PREDATOR NC HEADER)

    %
    O00500 (TC_ANGLED_3D.NC)
    (PROGRAM NAME - TC_ANGLED_3D.NC)
    (POST - Haas 3x_Mill.BCPst)
    (DATE - WED. 08/07/2019)
    (TIME - 03:08PM)
    (MATL - Wrought Alum 6061-T6, T651 (95 HB))

    ( JOBSETUP[TC_angled_3d.mwjs]JOBSETUP)

Living the dream my friend, hope all is well with you! I'm still using Mastercam for Solidworks as my main programming software but I've never stopped using Bob. I have thousands of parts that I maintain as an OEM and by far the majority were programmed with BobCAD. When I need to make a revision or I think it can be improved, it makes sense to work in BCC rather than start from scratch.
I'm using V31, so it's like I never left!

I'm still active learning and helping when I can but I mostly use the Facebook groups because I'm already on there when I'm screwing off, lol. Not much time for screwing off these days, by the end of the year my father will be fully retired and I've been assuming his duties.

If you do Facebook you should check some of the groups out, Al does live video frequently.
