    CNC motherboard advice

I am upgrading my cnc controller and drivers and I am seeking advice.

    My current setup has:
    - C10 bob
    - OMS mh110 drivers
    - Linux software

    I am switching to:
    - DM556D drivers
    - UCCNC software

The configurations I am deciding between are:
    - AXBB-E
    - C76 bob w/ 300-eth
    - UB-1 bob w/ 300-eth

Any feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Adrian

I have just installed my second UC300eth-UB1. One in a router and the latest in a mill. I really like the layout of the board, sufficient number of I/O, 24VDC I/O, and the ease of install. I don't have any experience with the others.

    The AXBB-E is also nice.

I just finished installation of the AXBB-E on a CNC Router Parts Benchtop Pro 2436 and I love it. Nice not to need any breakout boards (unless you need the third port). It's worked flawlessly for me thus far.

I agree, the AXBB-E is nice because it is an all in one solution saving lots of space and some cabling and it is 24Volts capable for industrial use.

    All,

Thanks for your feedback and help in deciding which direction to go. I will go with the AXBB-E configuration.
