    laser losing power

all was working fine, except sometimes (more often than not) i send a job to the cutter, and it does not matter what speed or power i use it does not cut through the 6mm wood

i try changing the focus height, manually change the settings in the file through the machines interface,

i normally cut 6mm wood on this machine at 15 speed 50% power

if i put same wood in machine and set the interface to 15 speed 50% power, and manually cut through the wood (using pulse and direction buttons) it cuts fine

can any one help on this issue

the machine is only 5months old, i cannot get hold of dropswell lasers

the machine is dropswell 1060 co2
or does anyone know of a laser engineer in the Essex area ??

Suspecting water/air cooling issue. Combined with, perhaps, a summer hotter than the others ;-)
Fill-in the water tank with ice cubes (i.e. extreme) and see if this makes any difference. If it does then you'll have to re-work your cooling system.
