    NM-135 gibs adjustments

Hey guys. I need to adjust the gibs on my NM135 and since I can’t find a manual with picture I do not know which screws is the tapered one and which one is the lock.

Anyone can point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

Hey MKlotz70, I turned on PM option.

I cannot see the link you posted, says video unavailable.

I have tapered gibs on that machine if that helps.

    Thanks

This is from the Pulsar manual. Hopefully it will help some.

The Torus has straight gibs, so it wouldn't be of any help. NYCCNC on youtube has done tapered gib adjustments on his Tormachs before. Video is typically better than pictures.

Steve303, the Pulsar is different it uses straight gibs with many set screws.

    Re: NM-135 gibs adjustments

Thanks for the replies. I came home this afternoon and took the gibs apart. On the X axis the right side is the adjustment and the left a stop/lock.

On the Y it is front is adjustment and on the Z it is the top one.

The adjustment screw is recessed in the gibs and the lock sits on top (over the end).

    Hope that makes sense!!!!
