Hi All! I am having trouble connecting my MSD200A spindle driver (SERVODE) with my control CNC4960 (ADTECH), the reason being the pinout difference:
CNC SPINDLE CONTROL PORT HAS THE FOLLOWING CONTROL SIGNALS:
PUL+, PUL-, DIR+, DIR -, SPINDLE PULSE Z+, Z-, A+, A-, B+ and B-
THE MSD200A DRIVER HOWEVER, HAS THE FOLLOWING CONTROL SIGNALS:
OCP (Open Colector command Pulse), OCS (open collector command direction), CW, CCW, and input pulses (PA+, PA- ,PB+, PB-, PZ+. PZ-)
I know how to connect the encoder signals (A, B and Z) but how can I connect or adapt the DIR+, DIR- , PUL+ and PUL- to OCP and OCS? and what to do with CW, CCW signals?
Thanks in advance! Any help is appreciated.
p.s: attached you can find both manuals, the control manual and spindle driver manual.
